A Closer look at Black South African Women’s lifestyle and food consumption choices and the effects of globalisation in contemporary South Africa

This thesis considers how factors of urbanisation and globalisation affect people’s lifestyle and food consumption choices and how this may then explain the prevalence of non-communicable diseases in the small town of Upington in the Northern Cape.
